Winifred Eleanor Conklin, 59, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on Thursday, March 27, 1975 of cancer.

Mrs. Conklin was born February 24, 1916 at Kilbourne, Ill. On March 6, 1940 she was united in marriage to Jack Milton Conklin Sr. in Thorp, Wis. She resided in rural Thorp since her marriage 35 years ago.

She was a housewife, foster mother, and town of Butler Clerk.

Surviving are her husband, Jack M. Conklin Sr.; two sons, Major Leslie Conklin of Carlsbad Calif. and MM3 Jack Conklin of FPO New York, N.Y.; three daughters, (Judy) Mrs. James Kesler of Flat Rock, (Lila) Mrs. George Reed of Hurly, Wis., and (Connie) Mrs. Ed Irish, Thorp; six brothers, Raymond, Lloyd, Donald and James Conklin from Illinois and Harold and Homer Conklin from Milwaukee; seven sisters, Blanche Wahfeld, Nina Patrick, Floye Hughes, Daisy Emmons, June Emmons, Patricia Kramer, all from Illinois, and Evelyn Williamson of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and Leslie Conklin.

Interment was in Butler Cemetery.

Pallbearers were her brothers six brothers.
