A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel for Aino Ferrington-Bossio, who died August 31, at age 93.

Mrs. Ferrington-Bossio was born March 10, 1906, in Portland. Her maiden name was Enquist. She was raised near Bonneville Dam on Bradford Island and in Beaverton, Warrendale and Corbett. She graduated from Commerce High School in Portland in 1924. She attended Oregon Agricultural College and then was a secretary and statistician for Reynolds Metals Co. in Troutdale for more than 30 years before her retirement in 1971. In 1944 she moved to Springdale and in 1997 to Gresham. She was a grand treasure for eight years and twice worthy matron of the Troutdale Eastern Star 80. In 1928, she married Glenn Ferrington, he died in 1958. She married Clarence Bossio in 1962, he died in 1996.

Survivors include her sons, Dale M. Ferrington of Gresham and Gary W. Ferrington of Eugene; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Willamette Cemstery. The family suggests remembrances to Troutdale Eastern Star 80 or to a favorite charity.

Aino Elvira Enquist married Glen Harold Ferrington on August 31, 1928 in Clark county, Washington.

Aino married her second husband Clarence Bossio on July 14, 1962 in Multnomah county, Oregon.
