Funeral services for Leslie W. Hawk, 88, well known resident of Sligo, who died Sunday, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hawk Funeral Home of Sligo.
Rev. Lloyd Chalton, pastor of the Sligo Methodist church, officiated at the services. Interment was made in the Rimersburg cemetery.
Mr. Hawk was born August 4, 1860, in Clarion county, the son of the late Simon and Eliza Mohney Hawk.
He was a member of the Sligo Methodist church.
Mr. Hawk is survived by the following children: Floyd, Clyde and Paul Hawk all of Rimersburg; Dick Hawk of Michigan; Mrs. Lula Culbertson of Rimersburg and Mrs. Hazel Shields of Clarion. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lou Shoop of Lawsonham; Mrs. Etta Cobbett of Rimersburg; Meade Hawk of Rimersburg; John Hawk of Oil City, and Lunn Hawk of Cambridge Springs. A brother, Michael, preceeded him in death.
