Ethel is my paternal Aunt through her younger brother Robert Don Mosier (1926-2005).
The sixth of eleven children born to John Franklin "Frank" Sr and Elsie Jane (Kennedy ) Mosier, Ethel married:
1) Theodore "Doe" R Clevenger on 10 Feb 1934 in Indpls, Marion Co IN. Uncle Doe is also my Grand Uncle, a brother of my maternal Grandma. Doe and Ethel divorced.
2) Miles F Hettenbach, bef 1947.
My Aunt Ethel served as a Corporal in the US Army during World War II. Recently, I found my old Baby Book. A notation written by Mother, stated Uncle Miles and Aunt Ethel gave a birth gift to me of a "Dress and Slip".
"Ethel B. Hettenbach, of 426 W. Cottonwood Ln., died Saturday at Hoemako Hospital at the age of 62.
Mrs. Hettenbach was born March 27, 1917 in Indianapolis, Indiana and lived in Arizona and in the area nine years. She was a nurse's aide, and a veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m to noon at the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul L. Hall, of the Methodist Church, officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Miles F., of Casa Grande; one daughter, Linda S. Hanson; three sisters, Noreen Smoot, of Illinois, Irene Clevenger, of Casa Grande and Betty Mosier, of Indiana; three brothers, Jim Mosier, of Indiana, Robert Mosier, of Sun Lakes, Guy A. Scofield, of Texas; and three grandchildren."
