Lucille Hollenbeck
Lucille V. Hollenbeck, 96, formerly of 1923 Illinois Ave., New Holstein, died Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein.
She was born on July 11, 1901, in Omaha, Neb., a daughter of William and Olga Albert Lauson. On Oct. 7, 1922, she married Kingsley Hollenbeck at New Holstein. Mrs. Hollenbeck attended New Holstein Public Schools and Plymouth Business School. She was a stenographer at Lauson Engines and Arps Corp, in New Holstein. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein, Order of Eastern Star, Stenographers Club, Sherlock Holmes Club , and New Holstein American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Robert and his wife Helen of Sheboygan Falls, Warren and his wife Patricia of Waupaca, and Gerald and his wife Geraldine of New Holstein; one daughter, Natalie Bauer and her husband Roger of West Bend; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Annabelle Kestell of New Holstein.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Sippel Funeral Home of New Holstein is handling arrangements.
