A native of Germany, Henry Wiener was married to Elizabeth Sus (or Suez) and was the father of at least 4 children. He brought his family to the United States in 1885.
The Wieners lived in Calhoun County, Illinois before moving to Iowa for a time, and then back to Calhoun. Henry's wife died sometime before 1900, probably in Germany or Iowa.
Henry's oldest daughter, Annie, married John Cimmers while the family was still living in Iowa. They were the parents of 5 children.
Henry's daughter, Barbara, married Thomas Paul Brodbeck in 1890 in Calhoun County, Illinois. They were the parents of 6 children. Barbara also raised Thomas' son from a previous marriage.
The final resting place of Henry's son, Klaus Wiener, is unknown at this time.
Henry's son, Ernest, married a woman from Iowa named Annie Booheister in 1890. Their first 2 children were born in Iowa, before the family moved to Calhoun County in 1898. They were the parents of at least 9 children. Henry lived with Ernest's family until he died in 1901.
At the time of his death, Henry was 64 years, 6 months and 25 days old.
Known children: 2 daughters, 2 sons.
