Elizabeth Gorham Hallett
Birth: Apr. 2, 1648
Marshfield
Plymouth County
Massachusetts, USA
Death: Mar. 5, 1683
Plymouth
Plymouth County
Massachusetts, USA

Although every indication suggests she was buried at Burial Hill, Plymouth, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, her grave marker can not be found in this cemetery. It has either disappeared or she is buried somewhere else.

She was the daughter of Captain John Gorham and his wife Desire Howland. She married Joseph Hallett at Barnstable on March 5, 1666.

Elizabeth and Joseph Hallett had the following children:

1. Mary Hallett, who married Jabez Fuller

2. Lois Hallett, who married Henry Cobb, Jr.

Elizabeth Hallett, who married James Cobb is believed by some to be a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gorham) Hallett. However, this has not been proved. Although it's possible proof may be found in the future, currently the Mayflower Society does not accept Elizabeth as a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gorham) Hallett.
