Silence Fuller, dau. of Edward Fuller and Elizabeth Rowley, b. of record May 22, 1721 at Colchester, Conn. She d. July 4, 1801 at East Haddam, at age 80 (g.s.) and Æ 81. They had the following four known children b. of record at Haddam, Conn., each by their mother a descendant of Edward Fuller of the 1620 Mayflower passage:
• i. Silence Selden, b. Aug. 14, 1749, d. Seot. 22, 1788 at East Haddam, Æ 40 (g.s.); m. Sept. 17, 1767 at the Haddam Cong. Ch. as his 2nd wife, Jonathan Huntington, s. of Samuel Huntington, Jr. and Hannah Metcalf, b. Mar .19, 1740/1 at Lebanon, Conn. Six children of the marriage.
• ii. Joseph Selden, Jr., b. Oct. 10, 1750, d. Apr. 25, 1825 at West Hartford, Conn. (g.s.); m. Nov. 12, 1771 at the Haddam Cong. Ch., Susannah Smith, dau. of David Smith and Dorothy Brainerd, b. Mar. 29, 1748 at Haddam. She d. Jan. 11, 1816 and buried at Farmington, Conn. Eleven known children of the family.
• iii. Cephas Selden, Esq., b. Oct. 19, 1756, d. Feb. 19, 1813 at Hartland, Conn. (g.s.); m. Dec. 10, 1778 at the Haddam Cong. Ch., Martha Brainerd, dau. of Elisha Brainerd and Martha Hubbard, b. Mar. 23, 1758 at Haddam. She d. Nov. 28, 1823 at Hartland, Conn. Seven known children of the family.
• iv. Edward Selden, Esq., b. July 22, 1758, d. Sec. 17, 1828 at Windsor, Conn.; m. in Jan. 1784 at the Haddam Cong. Ch., his cousin Sybil May, dau. of Rev. Eleazer May and Sybil Huntington, b. Feb. 14, 1760 at Haddam. Sybil was living Feb.. 28, 1806 but no record of her death has been found. They had four known children.
