Thomas Andrew Laughery was summoned at him home in Steenserson township, Beltrami County, on Sunday at the age of 78 years. Funeral rites willbe held at St. Olaf Lutheran church at Grygla on Monday afternnon, Nov 29 at 2 p.m., with Rev. O. O. Bjorgan officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
Mr Laughery was born in Dennison, Iowa on Jan. 21, 1870, later living at Sioux Falls, Estelline, and Marvin, S. Dak. In 1912 he moved to Steenerson township, where he has made his home since. 1987 he was united in marriage to Rose Tabke at Sioux Falls.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs Rose Miller of Fourtowns and Mrs. Ester Hoffman of Albany, Oregon; A son, Charley Laughery of Spruce Grove township; and 11 grandchildren. Two daughters and two sons preceded him in death.
