Sarah died sometime after 1850 and before July 1857 when her husband married Susan Campbell. I have guessed at 1851. The name of her mother is presently unknown, but her father, "Old Billy Davis" was legendary in Wilkes County, NC. A Revolutionary War veteran, he lived to be somewhere around 108 years old, depending on who you ask. After Sarah's parents separated, Billy married Frances "Franky" Carpenter Weatherman.
