Leonard R. Goetz, 85, a lifelong resident of Fowler, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2009, after a long illness with Alzheimer's disease.
He was born in Fowler to the late Albert and Elizabeth Cahill Goetz. He married Doris Ann Goetz in Earl Park, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2008.
He is survived by two daughters, Sue Ellen Fugate, (Bill) of Linden; Gail Smith, (Kevin) of Mooresville; one son, Roger Goetz, (Michelle) of Bloomington; by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild andone brother, Ray Goetz and one sister, Genevieve Long.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Cyril and Robert, and one sister, Bernadine Patnaude.
