Adopted Mother of my Maternal Grandmother.
Daughter of Paul J & Catherine (Bailey) Burns.
Sister of Michael F, Edward J, Helen E, Margaret A, Mabel E & Gertrude M & an unnamed baby who died in infancy.
First married to Francis E "Frank" Hughes.
Together they adopted my Grandmother, Geraldine in 1919.
Mary's 2nd husband was Walter H Barrows, who had a son from a previous marriage.
Mary lived in Norton, MA for many years until her passing in 1973.
