Mrs. George Goldsby Dies at Hospital
Funeral Services Wednesday Afternoon, Spickard Church

Mrs. George Goldsby of Spickard died at noon Monday at Wright Memorial hospital in Trenton where she had been a patient just since Monday morning. She had suffered with a heart ailment for about a year. For the past year she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Laverne Woods of near Spickard. Her age was 69.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Spickard.

Mrs. Goldsby, the former Rosa Cornwell, was a daughter of Larkin and Martha Cornwell. She was born June 11, 1881, near Spickard. In 1910 she was married to George Goldsby who died in 1938.

Surviving are a son, Herman Goldsby of Kansas City; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Etherton, Rock Island, Ill, Mrs. Lloyd Sackman, Hamilton, Mrs. Wyatt Chambers, Ford City, and Mrs. Woods, Spickard; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Cornwell, Trenton, and Howard Cornwell, Schenectady, N. Y.; and two sisters, Mrs. Tom Wilson, Adell, Ia., and Miss Grace Cornwell, Washington, D. C. They body is at the Schooler funeral home in Spickard.

Mrs. Rosa Goldsby, 69, Dies in Trenton Hospital

Mrs. Rosa Goldsby, 69, former Hamilton resident, died Monday about noon at the Trenton hospital. She was the mother of Mrs. Lloyd Sackman of Hamilton, the former Martah Goldsby, and had suffered from heart trouble for some time.

Mrs. Goldsby is survived by four other children: Mrs. Robert Etherton, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Laverne Wood, Spickard, Mrs. Wyatt Chambers, Ford City, Mo., and Herman Goldsby, Kansas City. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Tom Wilson, Adel, Iowa, and Miss Grace Cornwell, Washington, D. C. and two brothers, Herman Cornwell, Trenton, and Howard Cornwell, Bingham, N. Y.

The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Spickard and burial was made in the Spickard cemetery.
