Jack H. Fowler, 70, of 1016 Malibu Drive, Apt. 4, died Tuesday at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Fowler, born July 22, 1929, in Meriwether County, was the son of the late Julian and Pearl Fuller Fowler. He had lived here most of his life and retired from Kleen-Tex Inc. after 15 years of service. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Temple.

Survivors include his wife, June Fowler of LaGrange; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Bo Smith of Hogansville and Jan and Tracy Marshall of Franklin; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Karen Fowler of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Kim Reese of Cataula, Allen Smith of LaGrange, Kyle Marshall of Franklin and Blake Fowler of LaGrange; a great-granddaughter, Kelsey Dunklee of Cataula; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Eddy Baity of Winston; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Amos and Estelle Fowler of Austell, Bill Fowler and Harry and Evelyn Fowler, all of LaGrange, and Tatum and Rachal Fowler of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Herbert Barnes of LaGrange.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with Brother Steve Garner officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Karen Fowler, at 111 Lakecrest Drive and will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 until 9.
