James (Dick) Stanley
James (Dick) Stanley, 78, of Kayford died last night in a Charleston nursing home
after a long illness. The retired farmer is survived by his wife, Ferlina Holstein Stanley;
four daughters, Mrs.Priscilla Grant of Kayford, Mrs. Oma Holstein of Dorothy, Mrs.
Melvina Evans of Ameagle and Mrs. 0.C. Goins of Mt. Hope; eight sons, Chester,
Lonnie, Harley, Moody and Clue all of Kayford, Herf of Dry Branch, Alvie of Acme and
Delmer of Victor; a brother, Joseph Stanley of Decota; 63 grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren. The body is at Pryor Funeral Home at East Bank.
