Albert T. Boldon, born at Windfall, Indiana, March 18, 1855, died at the U.S. Veterans Hospital in Portland Saturday, April 24, 1926, at 11:30 p.m.
Mr. Boldon spent the greater part of his life in Wisconsin, where most of his near relatives still live. He was married to Stella Abbott August 30, 1876. He and family moved to Washington in 1900.
In 1898 during the war with Spain, he with his oldest son and brother enlisted and served until peace was declared.
He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss: Addison M. Boldon, of Boise, Idaho; Elsie McLean, of Linslaw, Ore.; Winnie Wiliiams and Muriel Knight, of Los Angeles, Calif. Three children passed on before him, Emmet, Jeanie, and Hilan.
He was a member of the Baptist church at the time of his death.
The funeral services were held at the Ellington Chapel here yesterday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. E. N. Turner. Interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
