Bernice I. Corey, 76, of Terre Haute, died in her residence at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2008.
She was born in Vigo County, on June 5, 1932, to August Weil and Zora Montgomery Weil.
She was a member of Union Christian Church, a longtime member of Maryland Community Church and currently was attending Oak Hill Community Church. She worked along side her husband, James W. Corey, in their business hauling water for wells and swimming pools.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Raymond Corey and his wife Tonya and Douglas Corey; three daughters, Janice Heleine and her husband John, Deborah Wilson and her husband Duane and Rebecca Vincent and her husband Mark; two brothers, Billy Weil and Bruce Weil; a former daughter-in-law, Kathy Corey; nine grandchildren, Christie Storm, Tiffany Rutledge, Kristen Vincent, David Heleine, Christopher Heleine, Jonathan Corey, Michael Corey, Patrick Wilson and Hunter Vincent.
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Saturday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with the Rev. Tim Fagg officiating. Burial is in Union Baptist Cemetery near her home. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
