Daughter of the late Herchel and Laura Carter Gardner, she was the widow of Ray A. Quinn (married on February 4, 1937). She was a member of Plymouth United Methodist Church, a 50 year member of Eastern Star and a member of the DAR. Her working career included teaching school, serving as a receptionist of the Plymouth Clinic and credit manager at Blk Tyler. She was survived by her daughter, Laura Huckabee and her husband Carmon; a son, Chad Douglas Quinn; and an extended family of relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Quinn. Her funeral was held June 23, 2009, at Plymouth United Methodist Church with The Rev. Jay Clark officiating.
