William"Bill" Clark was born December 23, 1909 to Joseph and Catherine(Blake) Clark in DeGraff, Minnesota. He was a twin and the other boy, James died a few days later. He had two older sisters Louise and Margaret, in 1911 a brother Francis was born.
He was a farmer in Minnesota then in the early 1940's he moved to Portland,Oregon. During World War II he worked in Alaska for a few years. Then in 1946 he married Bernice Margaret Smith of Morris, Minnesota and started a family. He worked for Miller Tranformers as a electrician, in Portland, Oregon. He was an active member of St. Stephens parrish in Portland, Oregon, in St. Vincent dePaul Society and their bingo games.
In 1962 the family moved to the Seattle area, where he worked as a shipyard electrician until 1979.He was an active member of the St.Vincent de Paul Society at St.Mark's Catholic Church in Shoreline, WA. He also worked the bingo games.
He is survivived by daughter, Kathryn Jean Dupre and her husband, Tip (Vancouver, WA); sons Kevin Clark(Seattle,WA.), Brian Clark (Redmond, WA.); 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by wife, Bernice, daughter, Mary Johnston, parents Joseph and Catherine(Blake) Clark, sisters Louise (Clark) Smith, Margaret (Clark) Smith and brother Francis Clark.
He had a funeral Mass Monday May 1, 2006 at 1:00 pm at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 18533 15th Place N.E., Shoreline, WA. 98155
