Juanita was an artist, writer and a very spiritual person. She served on the Governor's Committee for the handicapped and was responsible for many of the handicap upgrades statewide. She was involved in schools for handicapped children and adult workshops for the handicapped.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Lem) and Phyllis Wallin.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Rigsby and wife Teresa of Newport, William A. Reed of Marlin, Texas, and John Albert Reed and wife Sharon of Birmingham, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, John and Vergie Wallin of Newport; sisters, Janice McAnally of White Pine and Bonnie Lewis and husband J.A. of Newport; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Monday, August 7, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ruby Lawson, Rev. John Wallin and Tony Reed officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday August 8, 2006 in Rankin Cemetery.
