J. PILKINGTON IS TAKEN BY DEATH

NEW RIVER COMPANY MAN DIES AT HOME IN SPRAGUE MONDAY

Jonathan Pilkington, 62 years old, an employee of the New River company, died at his home at Sprague yesterday afternoon shortly after two o'clock. His death was attributed to complications,the result of an illness which kept him an invalid for the past five years.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. W. T. Crisman, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal church, at the home of his brother, William Pilkington, on North Kanawha street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Burial withe Foster Undertakers in charge will be in Hilltop Cemetery near Oak Hill.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Margaret Pilkington, two sons, Joseph Pilkington, of Mabscott; and Robert Pilkington, of Calloway Heights; and three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wood, of Beckley, Doris Pilkington and Alice Pilkington, both of Sprague, survive. The following brothers and sisters are also living, Thomas Pilkington, Summerfield, Illinois; Robert Pilkington, Belleville, Ill.; Mrs. Bessie Maffett, Cannonsburg, Penn.; Mrs. Ida Fleck, Morgantown; and Mrs. Alice Hagen, Detroit, Mich.

Funeral services for Jonathan Pilkington who died at his home at Sprague-Sunday afternoon will be conducted by the Rev. W. T. Chrisman, rector of St. Stephen's Episcopal church, at the home of a brother, William Pilkington; on North Kanawha street, this afternoon at 2:30. Burial with Foster Undertakers in charge will be in the Hilltop cemetery near Oak Hill.


The following pallbearers have been announced: Howard Christian, Charles Fisher, Herman Bostick, Ber Mann, William Lay, and Wilbur Wood.
