On March 25 1855, Mrs. Ann Beggs came before the session (of the Elizabeth Presbyterian Church in Sumter County, Alabama) with her letter of dismissal from Bethsalam Church, and gave satisfactory evidence of religious experience, and was admitted to full communion in this Church. The minutes of the church also show when Ann Beggs, her son, James W.,his wife and others received letters of dismissal Nov 5 1870 because they left for Texas.
