John J. Holbeck, 68, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Bethalto, died Tuesday, June 2, 1987, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Riverside.
He was born in Staunton, son of the late William and Martha (Easton) Holbeck.
Surviving are two sisters, Nancy Owen,s a resident of Bethalto Care Center, and Maxine Smith of Godfrey; and one brother, Carl Holbeck of Edwardsville.
Funeral arrangements are pending in California.
Burial will be at the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Riverside.
