HERMAN WILD FUNERAL ON THURSDAY
Wolff and Marx Official Succumbs to Attack of Pneumonia
Funeral services for Herman Wild, 52, secretary-treasurer of Wolff and Marx department store, who died Tuesday night will be held Thursday morning at St. Cecill's Catholic church.
Mr. Wild, whose home was at 232 East Locust street, died following an attack of pneumonia. A native of this city, he had been associated with the Wolff and Marx company nearly thirty years. He was treasurer of the organization twenty years.
He was a member of San Antonio Elks lodge no. 216 and of San Antonio Tent No. 46 of the Maccabees.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susan Bennett Wild; one daughter, Miss Dorothy Elizabeth Wild; one son, Herman Bennett Wild, all of this city; five sisters, Miss Josephine Wild of this city, Misses Sophia, Julia and Bertha Wild, and Mrs. E.W. Nitsche of Dallas.
Active pallbearers will be R.E. Kingston, Arthur Barbeck, Herman H. Oehs, C. C. Mitchell and E.W. Gardner.
Honorary pallbearers will be: W.C. Rigsby, Charles Schreiner Jr., E. J. Allgelt, Hiram Parice, Joe Halbardier, Grover C. Collins, Jack H. Burke, H.H. Claussen, S.S. Sencey, Alfred H.
