Other relatives who survive her are a brother Doran C. Randall of Bertrim and fourteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The remains were brought to Wells on Monday afternoon and taken to the home of William C. Houston. The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the house and an hour later from the Methodist Church. Rev. H. W. Bedford officiated and interment was made at Rosehill Cemetery along the side of her husband, who preceded her in death in 1901.
Mrs. Houston was an earnest Christian woman and her entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord. She was an active worker in the societies of the church of which she was a member and was sincere in her endeavor to do right.
The late D.M. houston familiarly known as "Uncle Dave" and his estimable wife were generally respected and esteemed by all who knew them. The widow carried the burden of the death of her husband, who was accidently killed in a run away. She was faithful to her trust and her splendid family is evidence of her rightousness.
