He was born about 1765 because when he was CONFIRMED at Grace Lutheran on 26th of May 1782 making him about 17 years of age. "Henry Ketteman, 17 Confirmed 26th May 1782" (asper the Grace Lutheran Record.

Henrich Jacob's Father is CHRISTOPFF KETTEMANN the immigrant of the SHIP PATIENT landing in Phillidelphia "At the Courthouse at Philadelphia, Saturday, 11th
August 1750. CHRISTOPFF originates from Großgartach, Weurtenberg Germans.

Henrich Jacob's Mother is CHIRSTINA, her last name is unknown. Henrich's parents place of Marriage is not known. Christina's exact origin is unknown. She appears in documents in the Grace Lutheran Church as "CHRISTOPFF's wife, Christina" and on land records and in her will as Christina Kitterman.

Henrich married ANNA DANNER the daughter of Phillip Danner and Eva Albach on 8th of March 1785, at St. Peter's Church, Frederick County Maryland. Phillips father is Michael Danner & his mother is Anna Bend. The Danner family immigrated from Manhiem Germany 1727 on the Ship the James Goodwill, Captain was David Crockett. The Danner's lived in York County, Pennsylvania and were Mennonites.

Witneseth that the said Philip Danner for and in consideration fo the sum of nineteen pounds five shillings to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Kitteman at and before the Sealing and delivery of thses presents, the said Philip Danner------- doth bargain and sell unto the said Henry Kitteman one black horse, one black and red heifer, one feather bed, one broad axe, and a axe mattock, two small rings, 2 --- wedges, one frying pan, one tea kettle, one washing tub, one churn and two pails ----.
