The funeral for John Allen Weierman, 84, formerly of 912 Pickering St., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ogdensburg First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ruth E. Loeffler and Norman Bice officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Weierman died Thursday at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility, Lowville.
Mr. Weierman was a retired U.S. Immigration Service border patrol investigator and immigration inspector.
He was a member of the Ogdensburg United Methodist Church, Ogdensburg American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a charter and life member of the Antique Car Club of America.
Mr. Weierman was a former volunteer for the Frederic Remington Museum and Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
Born Dec. 20, 1916, in Hatfield Pa., son of Charles and Sarah Gerhart Weierman, he married Mildred Trumbore in 1939 in Pennsylvania. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving besides his wife, are a daughter and her husband, a sister, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two nieces.
A brother died before him.
