Orson Greenwood, 69, Ririe, who came to Idaho 44 years ago, died Friday at an Idaho Falls hospital, following an illness of week.
He was born April 2, 1876 at Union, Utah and came to Idaho at the age of 25 settling in the Lewisville community. On April 8, 1909 he was married to Lydia Ellsworth in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.
In 1924 they moved to Ririe where he has been engaged in farming.
Besides his widow he is survived by ten sons and daughters as follows: Mrs. Mabel Peterson, Roscoe, California; Mrs. Gladys Arsenian, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Afton Jandro, North Hollywood, California; Mrs. Clara Cook, Milo; Mrs. Alice Bruce, Wayne, Michigan; Mrs. Dorothy Watson, Rigby; Mrs. Lydia Thorngren, Ogden, Utah; Edmund Greenwood, with the Marines in the South Pacific; Richard Greenwood, Ririe; and Dolores Greenwood, Ogden, Utah.
