Steve was born in Lorain on April 10, 1920 and remained a life-long resident of the city.
He was a veteran of United States Army where he fulfilled duty assignments as a Technician 4th Grade. He was the recipient of the American Theater Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He waa a member of Louis Paul Proy Chapter #20 of the Disabled American Veterans.
Steve was employed in the Production Planning Department Of United States Steel Corporation's Lorain-Cuyahoga Works; he retired in 1970 following a career that spanned thirty-nine years with the steel producer.
Mr. Muska was an active parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where he formerly severed as usher and Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Third order of Staint Francis there, as well as the Holy name Society, and the Paduan Travelers. Steve was also active with Saint Vincent de Paul Society at St. Anthony and was the recipient of the 1999 Top Hat Award for his service to that organization.
He had also previously served as a voluteer at the former St. Joseph Hospital.
In his free time, Mr. Muska enjouyed wood carving and solving crossword puzzles.
Survivors include his daughters Carol Quimper, Kathleen (Thomas) Miller and Barbara (Timothy) Flanagan , Minnesota; Six Grandchildren and one Great -Grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Irene (Yurula) on July 18th of this year, by his sons Richard in 1964 and Terry in 1969, by his father Steve Muska in 1939, by his mother Julia Bodnar Karandal in 1975, by his brother Joseph, and by another brother in infancy,
