Dates on tombstone for Polly do not correlate with dates in book reference. Son Cheney Luce Jr. born in Rochester, Utsler, New York from Snohomish WA obituary. From there I think they moved to Cherry Valley, Ashtubla Co., Ohio, then Stevens Point, Portage Co., WI. where Polly Darrow Luce was killed. After her death, Cheney Luce (Sr.) moved with Nathaniel Root and daughter Chloe P. Luce Root to Verona, Dane Co., WI. where he passed away at age 84.
