Birth: 1847
Death: Feb. 12, 1913

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. His true name was Co-Rux-Te-Chod-Ish. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army. He entered the service at Columbus, Platte County, Nebraska. He was awarded the CMOH for action at the Republican River, Kansas on July 8, 1869. His citation reads "Ran out from the command in pursuit of a dismounted Indian; was shot down and badly wounded by a bullet from his own command." (bio by: Don Morfe)
