Aunt Fay...What to say about her?
She was awesome. It was my privlege
to put away many a pot of coffee in
the company of her, my mother, and
my aunt Kitty at her home in
Oak Cliff.
The stories she told! I never left
there that I wasn't amazed at the
things she would share with me.
Many of them, totally inappropriate
for a girl my age, when she began to
forget that I was still her niece and
probably way too young to hear them!
I loved her dearly and miss her to this
day. Uncle Frank is with her now, and I'm
sure somewhere they are sipping the coffee
away and loving the time they have again
with my granny and mother.
I was blessed to have her!
