Benjamin James
William James was lost at sea off the coast of Virginia in 1819. His widow never remarried and lived near her daughter Elizabeth Coffin in Dartmouth, Massachusetts until her death in 1859. She's buried at the Rural Cemetery in New Bedford at the Coffin family lot along with two of her children; Mary Ann (James) Arnold and Elizabeth (James) Coffin.
