Carl George Sorg was the son of Thomas Sorg and Augusta Kennitz, both born in Germany.
In Spokane Washington on the 6th of August 1918, at age 33, he married Madeline A. DeLys. He was in the U.S. Navy at the time. On his marriage Certificate he lists his residence as Puget Sound U.S. Phila.

Carl George Sorg, 69, a resident for 49 years, died Sunday following a heart attack at his home. He lived at E3527 Olympic.
Mr. Sorg was born at Edson, Wis.
Mr. Sorg is survived by the widow, Madeline, at the home, and a daughter, Miss Shirley Sorg, Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Schaller and Mrs. Helen LeDuc, both of Santa Cruz, Calif., and a brother Henry Sorg, Dos Palos, Calif.
The body is at Hazen & Jaeger funeral home."
