A memorial service for Alice K. Smith, 55, Oak Point Road, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Congregational Church of Morristown with the Rev. Joseph Weidler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park, Ogdensburg.
Mrs. Smith died late Sunday afternoon at her home. She had been ill with cancer.
Surviving are her husband, five sons, four daughters, several grandchildren; her mother, seven brothers, two sisters, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A grandson, Chad Dafoe, died previously. Her father, Mervin Goolden, died in 1989.
She was born May 6, 1937, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Mervin and Grace Carr Goolden. She attended schools in Morley and Canton.
She married Lawrence E. Woodward in September 1955. They lived in Dickinson Center for several years. Mr. Woodward died March 27, 1964, at the age of 27.
She later married Arlie Smith. The marriage ended in divorce.
On April 9, 1977, she married E. Lewis Smith.
Mrs. Smith had lived at her present home for the past 16 years. She was a homemaker.
