Raymond L. Robert, 64, Route 95, was pronounced dead Monday at Alice Hyde Memorial Hospital, Malone.

Mr. Robert served with the Army in Germany from 1950 to 1953 and was a mental hygiene therapist with Wassaic Developmental Center and Sunmount Developmental Center, Tupper Lake, until his retirement in 1987.

Born Oct. 2, 1932, in Malone, a son of Wilfred E. and Pearl F. Robideau Robert , he attended Fort Covington High School and married Marjorie Dishaw. She died March 5, 1987. He married Karen Mainville Mulvana on July 18, 1992, in Bombay.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman and enjoyed raising beef cattle and fowl.

Surviving besides his wife are a stepson, a stepdaughter, three brothers, three sisters, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

A brother, John, died in 1982.

A funeral Mass will be said at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph's Church.
