Mrs. Joseph (Alice) McHallam, 59, Pompano Beach, Fla., a former resident of Valparaiso died Wednesday at North District hospital in Pompano Beach.
Born in Valparaiso, March 7, 1907 she was the daughter of Aaron and Mary Pumroy.
Surviving besides the husband are one step-daughter, Mrs. John Peart, Pompano Beach; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Bird, Valparaiso; one brother, Lewis Pumroy, Valparaiso; and one grandson.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at Dykes Funeral home with the Rev. Raymond King, First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
