LAST RITES FOR WALTER GAMBISH

Funeral services, in charge of Conrad Zilch, were held this morning (Thursday) at 9 a.m. in the St. Joseph's church for Walter Gambish, 50. Rev. Fr. James H. Smith officiated and the burial took place in Calvary cemetery.
Gambish was born in Poland but came to Amherst in 1912 and has lived here the remainder of his life.
He was employed at the Ohio Cut Stone plant and was a member of St. Joseph's church and of the Holy Name society and was affiliated with the Polish lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Stella; three sons, Frank and Joseph of Amherst, Walter at Great Lakes Training Station; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Gambish, at home and Mrs. Rose Bilgen, Huron; two grandchildren and one brother, John Gambish, Amherst.
