Youngest child of Isaiah C. Jones and Dorothea Hinamon Jones. Born in Marion, Ohio. A graduate of Marion High School, she was a classmate of Carrie Harding (sister of Warren G. Harding) and Marshall Kling DeWolfe (the son of Harding's wife Florence Kling DeWolfe Harding and her first husband Pete DeWolfe).
In 1912 she married her late sister's widowed husband E.E. Bush of Marion. Mother of one son, Elmore Bush.
An avid fisherman for her entire life, she delighted in making the catch, and then making it dinner.
She died in Marion in 1958 following a fall and the resulting broken hip. She is buried in Marion Cemetery.
