Marjorie E. Rheome, 59, of 143 Belmont Courts, died Monday at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital where she had been a patient since Jan. 3. She died after suffering a stroke.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Roloson, pastor of the Morley Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are three sons, two daughters, 12 grandchildren; two sisters, five brothers, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A sister, Shirley Geddes, died before her.
Born May 3, 1935, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Hiram and Grace Halloday Trickey, she graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy.
She married George Paige Aug. 15, 1953, at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Clyde V. Sparling, then pastor, officiating. The marriage ended in divorce.
She later married Charles W. Rheome. The marriage ended in divorce.
She worked for a number of Ogdensburg families doing domestic work and child care.
