Nellie G. Bryant
Nellie G. Bryant of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, June 29, 2002, at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home. Born on March 3, 1915, in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Lee and Lussetta (Etchison) Chapman. She married Frank O. Bryant on December 7, 1940, and he died on March 12, 1994.
Surviving are two sons: one son with wife, of Schaumburg, IL, and another son with wife, of Bedford, IN; one sister, Mitchell, IN; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; six brothers: Elbert, Everett, Leland, Ernest Melvin, and Roy Chapman; one sister, Pearl Hauenstein; and one son, Max Bryant.
She was a homemaker and a graduate of Williams (IN) High School. She was a member of Bryantsville Church of Christ, where she was a longtime active member.
Services for Nellie Bryant will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2002, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bryantsville Church of Christ Cemetery.
