Warren J. Premo, 68, of 500 Irvin St., died Friday morning at Hepburn Medical Center.
Mr. Premo worked in the paint department at the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He also painted cars as a hobby.
Born Aug. 17, 1928, in Ogdensburg, son of Joseph and Ida Chatreau Premo, he graduated in 1947 from Ogdensburg Free Academy. He married Dorothy Mae Allen on July 16, 1949, at St. Mary's Chapel with Monsignor F. Gordon Coseo officiating.
He was an active third-degree member of A.D. Charbeneau Chapter, Knights of Columbus, and a member of its building association committee, the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge and St. Mary's Cathedral parish.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, and a daughter, two sisters, several grandchildren, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at McLellan Funeral Home with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Cathedral. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
