Ellis Addison "Add" Hill, 94, of Corbin, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the Christian Health Center.
He was born December 15, 1914, in Keavy, a son of the late John and Sally Karr Hill.
He was preceded in death by six siblings, Roy Hill, Coy Hill, Susie Ellison, Bertha Vaughn, Elva Bunch and Mae Hart, and his wife, Evelyn Vaughn Hill, in April 2009.
Add served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, and was a retired route driver for Rainbow Bread.
He had been a faithful member of First Christian Church, serving as a deacon and elder.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Hood, and her husband, James of Independence, a son, Donnie Hill of Cincinnati,
a sister, Alice Helton of Keavy, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the O'Neil Funeral Home.
His funeral will follow at noon Friday with Bro. Ronnie Mitchell officiating.
Interment will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
