She was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Chandler, Okla., to John Wesley and Sarah Francis "Sadie" Wilson Eyestone. She attended school in the Oklahoma towns of Chandler, Guymon and Keyes, graduating from Keyes High School.
On July 5, 1956, she married Ted Livingston in Boise City, Okla. She lived in New Mexico while he served in the military. They later divorced.
Mrs. Livingston moved to Boise City in 1960 and to Elkhart in 1967. She served as the Morton County Clerk for six years, then worked as office administrator for various companies until her retirement. She was raised in the Nazarene church and was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Livingston of Wichita, Brad Livingston of Elkhart, and Brian Livingston of Rowlett, Texas; a sister, Pat Flanagan of Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karen Burg.
Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at First Christian Church in Elkhart, officiated by Jim Cunningham, pastor. Burial at Elkhart Cemetery.
Visitation hours were from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Morton County Special Care Unit, in care of the funeral home, Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
