Rosary services for Patricia Ruth Kozik, 50, Lexington, were held Sunday at Little's Conner-Sparlin Chapel in Purcell. Mass was celebrated Monday morning in Our Lady of Victory Catholic church in Purcell with Father John O'Brien officiating. Burial was in Lexington Catholic cemetery. She died Saturday at home following a short illness.
She was born 1/23/1933 in Lexington. She was a member of the Lexington Catholic church and Altar Society. She was secretary for the deputy warden at the Joseph Harp Correctional Center.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence W. of the home, 2 sons, Kevin G. and Kenneth Edward, both of Lexington, a daughter, Karen Marie of Lexington, her parents, Mr & Mrs Theodore Schmitz of Lexington, a sister, Marilyn Dunlap of Lexington, and 2 brothers, John Schmitz of Oklahoma City and Steve Schmitz of Lexington.
Bearers were Don Hagerty, Jim Brown, Leon Witt, Ed Hooper, J.L. Scott, & Charlie Sherman. Little's Conner-Sparlin funeral home, Purcell, was in charge of arrangements.
