Married Janet Dragin; sons Richard S. of Cleveland and Howard N. Koblentz of California. Married Mary Jean Klein (née Monnette); son Stuart J. of Columbus. Grandfather of Janet A. and Laura B. Koblentz.
Also survived by sisters Nan Koblentz of Beachwood, Evelyn Gale Amder (Bel Air, California) and brother Stanford O. of Lyndhurst, Ohio. Also survived by niece and nephews.
Attorney at Law, JD from Western Reserve Law School. He vowed to become a lawyer after an instructor told him that he could never be attorney because of a slight speech problem. Provided legal services to any and all - he was a believer in the right of all America citizens to a fair hearing and trial before the court. He instilled that faith in the law to his sons and all who would listen.
Founding member of Brith Emeth Temple, later serving as a trustee. An avid golfer, he was a member of Beechmont Country Club. Service to Country in WWII, stateside. Employee of the United States Department of Justice before establishing his private practice.
