Alex Barton, 96, S. Corbin, died Wednesday at his home.

He is survived by two sons, Haynes Barton, Middlesboro, and Harold Barton, Corbin; a step-son, George Shelby, Corbin; two daughters, Christine Barton, Bucyrus, Ohio, and Elsie Rose, Corbin; 21 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Elmer Elliott. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery in S. Corbin.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
