The funeral for Johanna E. Pearson, 84, of 804 Caroline St., will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at McLellan Funeral Home with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church, Morristown, officiating. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pearson died Sunday at Hepburn Medical Center.
Surviving are two sons, three daughters, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mary Breen, and three brothers, John, William and Stanley Breen died before her.
Born June 8, 1912, in Ogdensburg, daughter of William and Lena Downey Breen, she attended St. Mary's Academy. She was a switchboard operator at New York Telephone, Hepburn Medical Center and St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center.
She married Joseph H. Pearson on March 21, 1930, in St. Mary's Church with the Monsignor Harold J. Martin officiating. Mr. Pearson, an employee of the Ogdensburg Journal for 50 years, died Sept. 22, 1984.
Mrs. Pearson enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
