Margaret W. Pearson, 80, of 934 State St., retired employee of A. Barton Hepburn Hospital, died early today at the hospital.
A prayer service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the McLellan Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Philip T. Allen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are a sister and three grandchildren.
A son, James A. Pearson, died July 26. A brother, Charles Willard, also died previously.
Born in Ogdensburg on June 21, 1909, a daughter of Alfred and Mary McHugh Willard, she married James Pearson in 1937 at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Louis D. Berube officiating. Mr. Pearson died Sept. 2, 1966.
Mrs. Pearson was employed in the admitting office of A. Barton Hepburn Hospital for 42 years, retiring in 1974.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Cathedral.
