She was the daughter of Frederick Joseph Stone III and Grace Fowler, whose burial locations are not known at this time. She married Cyrus West Field on 2 December 1840 in Guilford, Connecticut by whom she had seven children (the 7th being Fanny Griswold Field Andrews). Cyrus became famous for his work in spearheading the first transatlantic telegraph cable.
The portrait of her is a chalk work and was donated to the Irvington, New York Historical Society by her descendants.
